Day 1 Arrive Calgary
Depart the UK on your chosen scheduled flight
to Calgary. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.
This evening, meet your Tauck Tour Director and
travelling companions for a Wild West themed
welcome reception and dinner.

Day 2 Waterton Lakes & Glacier National Park
Today you visit two national parks on the border
of Canada and the USA, Waterton Lakes National
Park and Glacier National Park, with 50 glaciers,
200 lakes and 1,000 miles of streams. Although
rustic, your accommodations for the next two
nights are considered the best in the parks.

Day 3 ‘Going-To-The-Sun’ Road
After a morning cruise on the alpine lakes,
you drive the narrow, curving and spectacular
‘Going-to-the-Sun’ road. Crossing the Continental
Divide you enjoy majestic peaks, graceful valleys,
blue glaciers and alpine wildflowers. Nestled
on the shores of the largest lake inside Glacier
National Park, your Swiss chalet style lodge
accommodation offers magnificent views.

Day 4 Kootenay National Park
Today you're heading into the heart of western
Canada’s great timberlands, then continuing
into lovely Kootenay National Park through
Sinclair Canyon and Radium Hot Springs. Your
final destination is Lake Louise, where Victoria
Glacier glistens in the waters of the lake. Your
hotel, located directly on the lake, offers a
picture-postcard setting.

Day 5 Moraine Lake & Lake Louise
After a guided trip to Moraine Lake, which is one
of the most photographed spots in all of Canada,
it’s back to your hotel for an afternoon at leisure.
Choose to relax in the hotel or hike, kayak or
canoe on Lake Louise. Perhaps take one of the
guided walks offered by the hotel, to learn about
the area’s flora and fauna.

Day 6 Icefields Parkway & Jasper
Breathtaking Icefields Parkway reveals spectacular
scenes of peaks, canyons, waterfalls and glaciers,
plus moose, bighorn sheep, mountain goats and
bear. Resplendent Jasper Park is your home for the
next two nights.

Day 7 Jasper
Enjoy a full day of leisure in the stunning mountain

Day 8 Columbia Icefield
Today you discover the incredible Columbia Icefield
en route to Banff, where you take a ride in a special
glacier vehicle on the surface of the Athabasca
Glacier. This ice mass spawns a host of rivers that
flow into the Atlantic, Pacific and Arctic Oceans.

Day 9 Banff
You have the entire day free to enjoy Banff National
Park, including the many shops and museums. Nearby
activities include canoeing, riding, hiking and golfing,
so be adventurous and head outdoors.

Day 10 Journey Home
After breakfast your journey takes you from Banff
to Calgary, where your tour ends at Calgary Airport
