Day 1 Arrive Toronto
Depart the UK on your chosen scheduled flight to
Toronto. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel which
is located in the heart of the city. Enjoy a little time
to relax before meeting your Tauck Tour Director
and travelling companions at the Royal Ontario
Museum for a welcome dinner.

Day 2 Niagara Falls
Today you journey to thundering Niagara Falls.
This morning hop onboard a boat cruise for an
up-close view of the plunging waters and misty
spray created by the Falls. Lunch is enjoyed in the
charming, Victorian town of Niagara-on-the-Lake,
before making the return journey to Toronto for a
visit to the CN Tower.

Day 3 Thousand Islands
En route to Canada’s capital city of Ottawa, there’s
a luncheon cruise through the Thousand Islands,
home to quaint summer houses and opulent
mansions. Once in Ottawa you are free to
explore this exciting capital city.

Day 4 Ottawa
Enjoy a guided visit to the city’s grand Parliament
Buildings, including the House of Commons, where
vaulted ceilings, marble floors and stone walls
adorned by hundreds of gargoyles create a grand
feel. Next, it’s on to the Canadian Museum of
History. Dating back to 1856, it showcases Canadian
history, archaeology, ethnology and cultural studies.

Day 5 Montreal
Before departing for French-speaking Montreal,
enjoy a presentation by an officer of the Royal
Canadian Mounted Police. Once in Montreal,
experience a country chateau lunch followed
by a guided city tour.

Day 6 Montreal
Take a walking tour through Old Montreal, a
contrasting environment to the bustling new city,
and sample an array of epicurean delights. The rest
of the day is yours to do as you wish. Perhaps visit
the fashionable shops of Place Ville Marie and St.
Catherine or explore the underground city. This
evening, enjoy culinary traditions at a popular local
restaurant.

Day 7 Montmorency Falls & Quebec City
Heading east, you wind through the heart of French
Canada along the St. Lawrence River to Quebec
City. En route, enjoy a taste of locally produced
maple ice at Trois Rivieres and stop for lunch
besides Montmorency Falls, which, although lesser
known, are actually higher than Niagara Falls.

Day 8 Île d’Orléans
This morning, tour Old Quebec where ancient
stone houses huddle beside churches and
historical monuments. Next you venture out of
the city to historic Île d’Orléans, a French-inspired
island of red-roofed farm houses and bountiful
fields of agricultural produce. Savour lunch in a
historic French flour mill and an afternoon cider
tasting at a local farm.

Day 9 Quebec City
The entire day is yours to enjoy Quebec City’s
enchanting setting on the St. Lawrence River, its
