Day 8 Whitehorse
Following breakfast, you make the return journey
to Whitehorse. This scenic journey takes you
through the Yukon’s backcountry, renowned for
wildlife spotting, so keep your eyes open for
moose, eagles and bears en route.

Day 9 Journey Home
This morning take the short ride back to the
airport, return your rental car and check-in for
your flight back to the UK.
Day 7 Whitehorse
After breakfast, transfer back to Jakes Corner by
boat to collect your rental car and make the return
journey to Whitehorse. Spend the afternoon picking
up last minute souvenirs, or try a canoe trip along
the Yukon River.

Day 8 Journey Home
This morning return your rental car and check-in
for your flight back to the UK.

Days 2 & 3 Whitehorse
Whitehorse is the largest city and capital of
Canada’s Yukon territory. Located on the banks
of the mighty Yukon River, as well as beautiful
scenery there’s also plenty of history to explore.
You may choose to take a day tour to Kluane
National Park where you can hike and partake in
wildlife watching, or to Carcross which boasts the
smallest desert in the world.

Days 2 & 3 Whitehorse
Named the Wilderness City, Whitehorse is
surrounded by rugged mountains and pristine
lakes. You can hike or bike the vast network of
trails, many of which follow the shores of the
Yukon River. We suggest taking the short journey
to visit the White Pass & Yukon railroad, which was
constructed in 1898 during the Klondike Gold Rush
and offers scenic day trips.

Days 4, 5, 6 & 7 Frances Lake Wilderness Lodge
Today you travel along the scenic Alaskan Highway
to Frances Lake where a 30 minute boat trip
carries you to Frances Lake Wilderness Lodge.
A comfortable but rustic resort of just five cosy
cabins, this destination is all about the outdoor
beauty and activities it affords. During your four
night stay, try your hand at fishing for arctic
grayling, canoeing the remote lake, wildlife viewing
or hiking one of the well-marked trails. Visitors in
September may also enjoy aurora viewing.

Days 4, 5 & 6 Tagish Wilderness Lodge
Today, you travel along the scenic Alaskan Highway
to Jakes Corner, where a boat transfer takes you
to Tagish Wilderness Lodge for a three night stay.
Offering a spectacular backdrop, this remote lodge
is nestled in the vast spruce forests and mountains
of Tagish Plateau. Comprising a main building
and just four log cabins, all offer wood-carved
furnishings and a cosy stove. Optional activities
include hiking, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, wildlife
watching and boat sightseeing trips.
