WESTERN CANADA – FLY DRIVE
Day 1 Arrive Vancouver
Depart the UK on your chosen scheduled flight to
Vancouver. Upon arrival, collect your rental car
and proceed to your hotel.

Day 2 Vancouver
Often ranked as one of the best cities in the world,
you’re sure to enjoy exploring Vancouver. Covering
over a thousand acres you may want to spend
some time in Stanley Park, visiting the various
gardens and perhaps taking a horse-drawn carriage
ride. Stroll historic Gastown, boasting a variety of
boutique shops and excellent dining.

Days 3 & 4 Whistler
Today you take the short but scenic drive along
the beautiful Sea to Sky Highway. Widely regarded
as one of the most scenic road trips in the world,
highlights include the majestic Howe Sound and
Shannon Falls. Whistler is a fabulous place to visit.
We suggest a horse riding trip and zip-lining, both
exhilarating experiences.

Day 5 Clearwater
Travel north from Whistler to the town of
Clearwater, located on the edge of Wells Gray
Provincial Park. The park features 39 waterfalls,
including the stunning Helmcken Falls, the fourth
tallest in Canada. The abundance of wildlife in the
park includes bears, moose, deer, wolves and over
250 species of birds.

Days 6 & 7 Jasper
Some of the most stunning scenery imaginable
creates the backdrop today as you journey through
the Rocky Mountains to Jasper. Why not take a
tram up Whistler Mountain or a trip to Maligne
Lake, which is one of the most photographed lakes
in the world. Don’t miss the stunning sunset at
Pyramid Lake.

Days 8 & 9 Lake Louise
Your journey from Jasper to Lake Louise takes
you through the heart of the sensational Rocky
Mountains. As you head south along the Icefield
Parkway, stop at Columbia Icefield and venture
out onto the Athabasca Glacier on one of
the Ice Explorer vehicles. Lake Louise is filled
with recreational opportunities, from hiking
and mountain biking in summer to skiing and
snowshoeing in winter.

Day 10 Invermere
Today’s short drive takes you through the awe
inspiring Yoho National Park to the Kootenay
Valley. Located on the shores of the warmest lake
in the valley, Invermere is known for relaxation.
Perhaps visit one of the numerous beaches on the
lakeside or soak in a mineral pool at one of the
nearby hot springs. Golfers are spoilt with a choice
of no fewer than nine golf courses, which combine
to create the Columbia Valley Golf Trail.

Day 11 Okanagan Valley
Due to its unique climate, Okanagan Valley is
Canada’s second largest wine producing region
with over 170 wineries, so visiting a selection
of the area's world-renowned vineyards and
picturesque orchards is a must.

Days 12 & 13 Osoyoos
Known as Canada’s ‘Pocket Desert’, due to it
boasting the warmest average temperatures in the
country, Osoyoos is the perfect place to sit back
and relax. Osoyoos Lake offers vast lengths of
beach and a variety of water sports, from boating
to wakeboarding.

Day 14 Vancouver
Your journey today takes you west along the
Coquihalla Highway. En route, you may wish to
stop at one of the many roadside stalls selling
fresh cherries, apples, apricots, pears, peaches
and grapes, all grown in the local region. Cross
the spectacular Dry Gulch Bridge, which is over
280 metres long and 180 metres high.

Day 15 Journey Home
Today you return your rental car and check-in for
your flight back to the UK.
