Sitting on the banks of picturesque Moraine Lake, this pretty lodge is
nestled in a spectacular valley within Banff National Park, just ten miles
from the town of Lake Louise and an hour from downtown Banff.
Accommodation
Custom designed, hand-crafted log furnishings, Rocky Mountain styled
interiors and rich earth colours echo through each room and cabin.
Expect plump down duvets, fine wool-rich blankets and well-appointed
bathrooms and you won’t be disappointed. In-keeping with the serene
surroundings, there are no televisions or telephones instead, every
accommodation boasts an outdoor deck for enjoying the beautiful
mountain vistas.
Facilities
The Walter Wilcox Dining Room is an experience not to be missed. It is
graced by a large stone fireplace, elegant Rocky Mountain interiors and huge
picture-like windows, whilst offering a menu which showcases the region’s
best cuisine. The Snowshoe Café offers a more casual setting, serving
deli-style snacks. Afternoon tea can be enjoyed daily in the comfortable
surroundings of the library, where a selection of magazines and games are
also available. A wide range of activities, around the lake and further afield
are available from the Lodge. Moraine Lake Lodge is only open between
June and September due to the terrain of its location.
