This pretty seaside retreat is nestled along the shores of Ingonish
Beach on Cape Breton Island. Perched on a headland overlooking the
Atlantic Ocean, Keltic Lodge provides a picturesque base from which
to explore the Cabot Trail and visit the area’s attractions including
Fortress Louisbourg and Mary Ann Falls.
Accommodation
Accommodated within two buildings, the historic Main Lodge and the
Inn at Keltic, are a selection of guestrooms and suites, each offering
an array of thoughtful amenities including flat screen televisions and
coffee-makers. Perfect for families and longer stays, the two and four
bedroom cottages feature a cosy fireplace and a spacious private
veranda overlooking the majestic Atlantic Ocean.

Located on the scenic south coast of Nova Scotia, Atlantica Oak
Island Resort sits close to the area’s attractions and unique shopping
options. Ideally located for exploration, the resort is 45 minutes from
Peggy’s Cove, one hour from Halifax, two hours from Digby and
20 minutes from historic Lunenburg.
Accommodation
Overlooking the waterfront, the main resort building houses
105 guestrooms, all air-conditioned, traditionally decorated and many
with ocean views. Offering a more secluded and spacious choice, the
13 oceanfront chalets are designed for open-plan living. Each has a living
room, kitchenette, two bedrooms and a furnished patio. The seaside
villas, which offer the most luxurious accommodation within the resort,
have two bedrooms and feature a full kitchen.
Facilities
Sitting on the marina, the resort has great water-based activities
available in addition to many others on land, including mini-golf,
indoor and outdoor pools and tennis. There’s also Aqua Spa, which
specialises in holistic treatments and features a hot tub, saunas and a
fitness centre. La Vista Restaurant offers all day dining, either indoors
or accompanied by soft ocean breezes out on the patio.
