It is hard to believe that just two

provinces can play host to so many

incredible experiences. The reason is

simple; this immense western region

of Canada is home to thousands

of miles of lush coastline, soaring

mountains, stunning landscapes,

glacier-fed lakes and a host of

islands. The spectacular Rocky

Mountains form the backbone of

Western Canada, with turquoise

lakes, flower-carpeted meadows

and quaint villages adding to its

appeal. The great outdoors doesn’t

get any greater!

many charming towns and villages including the

capital of Victoria. Vancouver Island is only 300

miles long, boasting an abundance of natural beauty

and wildlife, both on land and at sea. The Pacific Rim

National Park contours the coast whilst Strathcona

Provincial Park is a truly remote wilderness.

Kananaskis and Waterton are not only beautiful,

they also offer countless outdoor activities

year-round, with an incomparable backdrop of

snow-capped mountains and brilliant blue skies.

in numerous locations around the province. Back

on dry land, there’s mountain biking, dog sledding,

snowmobiling, hiking, bird watching, horse riding

and golf all at your disposal. British Columbia is

undoubtedly the ultimate place for bear watching,

so if you’re looking for an unforgettable wildlife

adventure, make sure you allow time to include a

visit to the province’s northern reaches.
