Their close locations along The Mall and Pennsylvania Avenue mean that they are best visited on foot, on a biking tour, or even a Segway tour. We suggest a stop ay Luray en route, where you can descend beneath the earth into the eerily beautiful Luray Caverns. The final part of your route is along Skyline Drive, which offers perhaps the most incredible vistas in eastern USA. Shenandoah Valley has over 500 miles of hiking trails, winding through lush forests and valleys filled with wildflowers, trickling streams and waterfalls.
