Renovations
Room Renovations
Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is undergoing room refurbishment to rooms in the Barrott Wing and is estimated for completion in April 2025. (Refurbishment to the rooms in the Glacier and Painter wings has been completed.) Throughout the process buffer floors and rooms will be taken out of use to mitigate any negative impact to guests. Work will occur throughout the week and we anticipate guests may experience noise at times. All work will be restricted to between 9am and 6pm on weekdays, and between 10am and 6pm on weekends. Mt. Temple Wing renovations will begin in January 2025 and the estimated completion date is May 2025. The Mt. Temple wing will be completely closed during renovations and there will be no impact on guests. The construction area will not be accessible.
Thermal Wellness Facility Construction
Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is constructing a state-of-the-art Thermal Wellness Facility, which will be located on the former site of the hotels original swimming pool, directly below the Painter Wing. Work is scheduled for completion in August 2025. Construction will generally occur Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm, with some weekend work where required. Landscaping work is the last phase of the project on both the facility surrounds and roof. The exterior construction site is fenced and screened off, although it may be visible from some hotel rooms and from the lake. We are advised that there will be minimal guest impact between November 2024 and August 2025 as most of the intensive work has been completed.
