Finger Lakes Region

Rochester

Sitting on the southern shores of Lake Ontario, Rochester is just 75 miles from Syracuse and 65 miles from Buffalo. A world of art, theatre, music, photography, history, nature, and play! From standing in the parlour where Susan B. Anthony was arrested for voting, to listening to great jazz on the streets, Rochester is filled with museums, attractions, music, theatre, festivals, sports, shopping, and dining opportunities. The charming town of Geneva is located on Seneca Lake, the largest of the beautiful Finger Lakes. Bike and walking paths in Lakefront Park lead to a wider path in Seneca Lake State Park that runs along the lake making for a picturesque outing.

New York’s Finger Lakes region has glacier-sculpted landscapes, ideal microclimates, and gifted winegrowers to produce fresh, vibrant, wines, including world-class Rieslings. Take the time to follow the wine trail and taste some of the succulent wines at the wineries along the way.

Ithaca
