Original architecture from the 1700's and the historic working waterfront offer a unique maritime setting, so much so that many films have been shot here.

Lunenburg's fine artisans capture the tradition of their maritime heritage in their work, in local art galleries and gift shops along the harbour side streets. Visit the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic and learn more of the town’s maritime history.

Fine restaurants offer tasty international cuisine, fresh seafood as well as Lunenburg's traditional recipes of Solomon Gundy, Lunenburg Pudding, Lunenburg Sausage and Sauerkraut.
