Day 2

Red Rocks & Grand Canyon

Visit the picturesque town of Sedona, surrounded by towering red-rock formations with names like Coffeepot, Cathedral and Thunder Mountain. The scenery is awe-inspiring. Next, it’s on to Grand Canyon National Park, the matriarch of national parks! Spend the night near the canyon’s rim from where you will be able to enjoy nature’s masterpiece after the day’s crowds depart. This is sure to be a highlight of your family’s adventure. Dine at a choice of park restaurants this evening.


Day 3

Grand Canyon & Williams

If you choose to do so, watching the Grand Canyons glorious sunrise is worth the early start to your day. Enjoy some time exploring the area, whilst keeping an eye out for mule deer, squirrels and other wildlife roaming the cactus-studded landscape. Next, it’s a guided driving tour of the Canyon’s East Rim and stops at several scenic points including Desert View Lookout. The next destination is a unique, man-made lake in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area – Lake Powell. Have fun at the evening,s private pizza party taking place at your lakefront resort, followed by a campfire and s’mores!

Day 4

Lake Powell

Take to the skies and discover Mother Nature’s handiwork on a flightseeing excursion over the world’s largest natural bridge; Rainbow Bridge spans 275 feet across Rainbow Creek in an almost perfect parabolic arch. This afternoon, take a private lake cruise and guided tour to view Antelope Canyon, one of the colourful slot canyons in the Navajo Nation. They are revered for their special beauty and change color as the sun moves overhead. You also have the option (at an additional cost) to go on a 4-hour flightseeing excursion to Monument Valley in the morning.

Day 5

Glen Canyon Rafting & Kanab

This morning is an adventure – floating along the Colorado River and through Glen Canyon aboard a pontoon raft. Next its a change of pace and scenery with a taste of western entertainment during lunch in Kanab, Utah, a favourite location for famous cowboy movies. You’ll be staying in Bryce Canyon National Park tonight, naturally painted in shades of pink and orange.

Day 6

Bryce Canyon National Park & Canyon Point

Wake up to nature’s palette of brilliant colours in the canyon and get a closer look at the whimsical hoodoos and intricately carved pillars of rock just a short walk from your lodge. Weather permitting, you can saddle up for an exciting trail ride on a horse or a mule, accompanied by a cowboy who highlights hidden sights in this geologic fantasyland. Depart for Zion National Park this afternoon. On arrival enjoy a private tram tour of the park’s highlights.

Day 7

Zion National Park Region

The morning is at leisure to explore as you wish. Read the rocks in Zion’s cliff-and-canyon landscapes, take a hike through narrow pink-coloured gorges and dramatic canyons or discover creamy-pink Navajo Sandstone cliffs that reach up to 2,200 feet in height! Travel to Las Vegas for an overnight stay and a farewell dinner amidst the city’s blazing neon lights..

Day 8

Journey Home

There may be time for some last minute shopping or sightseeing before you transfer to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
