You can always find something to do in the Rhinebeck area! Numerous recreational opportunities and year-round events abound. The Hudson River offers opportunities for sailing, cruising, and kayaking and the open space found in Northern Dutchess County provides some of the best hiking areas and cross-country skiing. The Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome is famous worldwide for its daredevil sky show and vintage World War I planes and museum. One can even take a ride in a biplane!

Poughkeepsie

Tarrytown

The picturesque village of Tarrytown is located on the eastern bank of the Hudson River about 25 miles north of midtown Manhattan. Tarrytown is home to historic sites, such as Lyndhurst and Washington Irving’s home “Sunnyside”, as well as beautiful parks throughout the village and lining the Hudson River. It has a character and charm from a bygone era, yet is surprisingly “New York” with high-end restaurants, art galleries and boutiques.
