Toronto Winter Wonderland

Depart the UK on your chosen scheduled flight to Toronto and proceed to your hotel, Park Hyatt, Toronto, which provides your accommodation for the next five nights.

Toronto brims with energy and excitement. When the winter rolls around, Toronto becomes a wonderland of winter activities with plenty of public ice rinks for hockey games or leisure skating, tall hills for tobogganing, and cosy heated patios to warm those chilly fingers. Plus, there are light festivals and winter solstice celebrations to enjoy.

The next two full days are yours to explore this wonderful city during the winter period at your own pace. To help you get around we have included a Hop-on Hop-off Sightseeing Tour and an admission ticket to CN Tower. Toronto’s culinary scene is as diverse as the city itself and to help you experience this firsthand, we have also included a two and a half hour Kensington Market Food Tour, featuring edibles from eight countries spread over five continents.

Today you will take full advantage of Northern Ontario’s snowfall on a 12 hour tour to Sundridge. Perfect for all ages, this full-day excursion provides a great escape from city life. Comfortable transportation takes you from the busy streets of Toronto to a peaceful farm in North Ontario. Enjoy the thrill of dog sledding, snowshoeing, and snow tubing along the private trails. In between, warm up with a fireside chilli lunch.

On your final day in Toronto, you’ll enjoy a fabulous Wine Country Tour, exploring the beautiful Niagara Peninsula region with its pretty landscape and plentiful vineyards. You will taste award-winning homegrown wines such as Konzelmann Estate, Pillitteri Estate, and Inniskillin Winery. Historic Niagara Parkway forms part of your journey, as does the charming town of Niagara-on-the-Lake where free time is included for you to perhaps have a spot of lunch or browse the quaint independent shops. It was voted the prettiest town in Canada and you will see why for yourself! Your tour includes collection and return to your hotel in Toronto, so there is no need for a designated driver. 

You may have time for some last-minute sightseeing or shopping before making the journey to Toronto International Airport, where you’ll check-in for your flight back to the UK.
